Eastbound Third at the Murray Loop. This is what happens when you don't use your trolleybusfan filter.
The Rt 1 used this loop to turn around in until 1996 or 7 when the Mt Crest Loop was completed.
The Murray loop is on the side of the street that makes the trolleybus turn across both directions of traffic go back in.
It was also on an S curve on a hill that automobile drivers mistake for a racetrack.
As a teenager if I saw visiting trolleybus fans and if they wanted to take a quick tour (using regular service trolleybuses of course)
I would ask if they wanted to see one of the stupidest trolleybus turn loops. Most agreed with my opinion when they saw Murray Loop. May 23, 2010
