Southbound Wayne at Keowee. The Rt 4 splits off onto Keowee and then Xenia Ave. The trolleybus lost it's poles in the switch which allowed us to get ahead for this shot.

Southbound Wayne at Keowee. The Rt 4 splits off onto Keowee and then Xenia Ave. The trolleybus lost it's poles in the switch which allowed us to get ahead for this shot. Once again you can see the gentle rise in elevation as we leave Downtown Dayton. That is US 35 crossing Wayne in the background. US 35 more or less obliterated the neighborhood served by long gone trolleybus routes 3 Richard and 6 Lorain on the east side, which were combined into the Xenia Ave route in 1967. May 23, 2010
