However, Paul Stringham's "76 Years of Peoria Street Cars" provides additional details regarding the operations of the streetcars and trolleybuses
in Peoria, and would seem to indicate that the last trolleybus run was on the evening of October 2, 1946, with diesels replacing the streetcars
and trolleybuses on October 3, 1946.
